Praise and Update: 1/13/10
Dear Brother, As of yet you're the only one who has come on board through the Internet Site you set up for me. But it is still a
blessing to have available for those who might still come on board. There are some who have responded through Dr. Dixon's letter
and a few personal calls that I have made. The Lord is good and the need is still great, but I know the Lord will continue to speak to
hearts until the time appointed. Perhaps six months. I am restricted in my abilities to get around, but I find the Lord strengthening me
noticeably each day. I was able to sleep in my bed for the first time last night (Tues. 1-12) since I've been home from the hospital. I
came home Dec.25, 2009. There's something special about being able to sleep in your own bed. Pray for me as I take the liquid
chelation, that it will clean my arteries out and I won't have to have the by-pass surgery. While I was going to the doctor for my first
check up, the alternator went out in our van. It cost us $356. to get it fixed, but I believe the Lord will help us by meeting our needs
through his divine hand. The love of the brethren is such a wonderful thing and I can guarantee you that my wife and I will stand
ready to help others in their time of need. You have been so gracious to us and encouraged our hearts in the Lord. Please feel free
to contact me at any time about anything. Love in Christ Jesus, Mike Martin
Dear Brother Snyder (and praying Brethren,) Feb 1, 2010
The Lord has been and is so good to me and my wife. My health is improving and even though my legs are weak I feel stronger each
week that goes by. The Lord continues to take care of us financially from brothers and sisters in Christ we have never met. It is truly a
miracle the way the Lord meets our needs, as we continue to trust him every step of the way by faith. No surplus - No lack ! There's no
other way to explain it, but the Lord moves on hearts according to His precious will. If everyone sent at one time it would be too
much and if everyone held off it would be disastrous. In all our ways we acknowledge him, because he is directing our path!
I have an appointment in Cincinnati on Feb.23rd with the doctors who worked on me in the Christ Hospital. They want to know if I
would at some point be willing to do a television interview because of the procedure they used on me. They froze my body to keep
the swelling down in my brain, because of the injury I sustained when I fell on my head when I had the heart attack. It took seven
shocks of the paddles to revive me and bring me back. Even though I know I'll be with my Lord when I cross the great divide, I'm so
glad he chose to allow me to stay here, perhaps until he returns. My wife is glad, my children are thankful and our church family is
thankful. I thank you my dear precious brother for your prayers, support and all the work you've done in putting together this web page.
May the blessings of our Lord be multiplied upon you and yours, pastor Mike & Gail Martin
Dear Praying Friends, My doctors appointment has been rescheduled for March 17th.
They will check out my defibrillator (implanted in the left shoulder area) and my heart.
I have been taking a liquid chelation for the last two months, so I pray it has cleaned
out my arteries. Your support, friends, has been a great help and encouragement to
me and my wife. My back has finally healed and I am ever so thankful to the Lord for
that. If it hadn't been for the faithful support of God's people I wouldn't have been
able to make it. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I am so very thankful for
those, like you, who have sent to our need, that we have never met. But we will one
day brothers! My wife and I thank you in Jesus name.
